The season is well underway and it has been an inconsistant start to the season. All the senior sides have won games but have also lost games they would have targetted to win. Matt Parr has been an excellent aquisition taking wickets with real pace and top scoring with some strong hitting. Matt has also been everpresent at our Thursday night junior nights which are continuing to attrcat record numbers. The junior sides have all started well, winning games and performing well.

Senior nets begin on Friday 29th Feb 7-8 for 6 weeks at Emanuelle College.
Under 15s and below begin on Sat 1st March 2 - 3.30 for 5 weeks (missing Easter Sat) also at Emanuelle

The Club are pleased to announce the signing of 24 year old South African fast bowling all rounder Matt Parr for season 2008

Preparations are now underway for season 2008 with the captains being reelected at the club AGM. Fixtures see the First XI play Percy Main at home on the 19th April followed by a trip to Seaton Burn. The second XI face a trip to Benwell and Walbottle first up before hosting Seaton Burn.
Cricket Force will once again be held after the successful refurbishments of the changing rooms and scoreboard last year. This year it will be held over 4th 5th and 6th of Aril and any assiatnce will be appreciated.
A Friendly 20-20 amonst the senior players followed by a trip to the Jamdani is provisionally organised for the weekend before the start of the season (12th/13th April)
A race night has been organised for the first Saturday of the season in the club (19th April)
